How do soldiers keep their faith in God’s goodness amidst the suffering and slaughter of battle? American soldiers and sailors, airmen and Marines have asked questions like these ever since the War for Independence. The questions occupy their thoughts and find their way from faraway battlefields into letters to loved ones. Read More... Navy SEAL Michael A. Why you OUGHT to Judge. Jesus isn’t telling us not to judge—Jesus is telling us how to judge. He actually commands us to take the speck out of our brother’s eye—that involves making a judgment. But he also commands us to stop committing the bigger sins ourselves so we can better help our brother. Read More... 6. |

Luke 9:23..."if anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, & take up his cross daily, & follow Me.
Statistics show that upon graduation,1 out of every 4 Christian high school students will leave the faith, never to return again. We want to reveal to this generation & the generations to come that faith is not an event but a lifestyle, & that taking a diploma does not have to involve laying down your cross. We invite you to connect with us as we ignite a passion for God that would impact the world.
Why the name Momentum?
Momentum: defintion: a force gained by movement
A person interviewing American Idol judge Simon Cowell, once asked "Who do you think will win the competition?" He responded "Whoever can create momentum will win the competition. But before anyone can create momentum, they must first have a moment; & build upon that moment day after day to create momentum." The key to the Christian faith is the same as true, whoever can create momentum will win the race of life (2 Tim. 4:7). We want you to realize that Christianity is not an event but a lifestyle. When you get saved or have your moment, the Christian faith does not stop there, but it is about creating momentum, or having moment after moment with God until you create the momentum & become a force gained by movement, as you take up your cross & pursue Him & the life that He has for you (Luke 9:23).
We believe God is looking for a people that is passionate for Him. To make a difference we must be different, the world will take notice who Christ is when they begin to see "real" Christians. It's time we return to a place of holy surrender. It's time that "Christians" start carrying the name & the cross. If you are ready to find the answer to the question of "why am I here", or "what am I supposed to do"; join us as we reveal the answer to those questions by knowing Him, & making Him known.
MOMENTUM IS GATHERING, THE MOVEMENT IS JUST BEGINNING
Service times are Wednesday nights @ 7:00 upstairs in the Main Sanctuary building Sunday school @ 10:00a.m. in the Sanctuary
