Why you OUGHT to Judge. Jesus isn’t telling us not to judge—Jesus is telling us how to judge. He actually commands us to take the speck out of our brother’s eye—that involves making a judgment. But he also commands us to stop committing the bigger sins ourselves so we can better help our brother. Read More... 6. |

For My own sake, for My own sake, I will do it; For how should My name be profaned? And I will not give My glory to another. (Isaiah 48:11)
The bible book of Romans 14:17 declares, "for the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost", I say wow!! That is fantastic. In the book of Matthew 6:13 our Lord taught us to pray, "For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever." Let's look at two aspects of the glory of God.
One of those aspects speaks of His Presence which cannot be fully described. We cannot live and experience the fullness of the brightness of His glory. The glory I speak of is the glory that Moses experienced when God covered him with His hand and passed by (Exodus 33:22). This same glory filled Solomon's temple (2 Chronicles. 7:3), I say "wow" again!
A second aspect of God's glory is Honor. To God and God alone be honor for everything He does. James 1:17, says "every good gift comes from God". Please understand God will absolutely not share His glory with anyone. We need to understand this fact. It is not about a preacher, church, singer, it is all about our great God.
God help us as Christians to be instruments in God's hands for Him to use. We must understand that all good accomplished belongs to Him and not man. It is His power, His might, His majesty, His glory and always will be forever and forever.
For His Glory, Pastor Durden |
