My Utmost for His Highest."Lord, I will follow Thee; but . . ." Luke 9:61 Supposing God tells you to do something which is an enormous test to your common sense, what are you going to do? Hang back? If you get into the habit of doing a thing in the physical domain, you will do it every time until you break the habit determinedly; and the same is true spiritually. Read More...
The Answer For Evil. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good. (Psalm 53:1)
How it was that 60 million perished following the Bolshevik revolution? 'Men have forgotten God' - that's why all this happened. All attempts to find a way out of the plight of today's world are fruitless unless we redirect our consciousness, in repentance, to the Creator of all: Without this, no exit will be illumined, and we shall seek it in vain." - Alexander Solzhenitsyn
I have chosen the way of truth; Your judgments I have laid before me (Psalm 119:30). Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully (Psalm 24:3, 4).
It's always been amazing to me that even in the Old Testament God called for His people to be a holy people, may I say to all reading this message, we've got to be a holy people if we expect to get into and live in God's presence. In Old Testament times a priest's failure to wash his hands in the bronze laver was punishable by death because everything that had anything to do with the tabernacle was to be holy (Exodus 30:20), you see, God's looking for holy people even today, (Hebrews 12:14). The priest having clean hands symbolized the provision that Jesus made for each of us that truly repents and accepts Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
We are cleansed and made new creatures through God's holy word, (1 Pet. 1:22, 23).
No man is qualified according to God's word to go into God's presence without clean hands and a pure heart. (Job 17:9) is a great scripture that lets us know as we live holy, that we can be stronger and stronger, Praise God.
Read these great scriptures and let God speak to you, James 4:7; Ps. 26:6, 7; 2 Sam. 22:21, Praise God for His word.
